Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) |
| A Ph.D. degree has always been considered a "Research Degree." However, it is not uncommon for the Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathy, Doctor of Chiropractic, as well as other professionals to earn it. This degree is similar to the Doctor of Naturopathy, with the exception that it requires more research and more theses (or dissertations) to earn it. Our Doctor of Philosophy degree is presently in much demand where new licensing laws are restricting traditional naturopaths from using the ND and NMD degrees. The holder of this degree will have the knowledge to teach, research, or practice naturopathy in accordance to state laws or respective residency. |
